We got married on September 11th 2010, with the reception in The Heritage Hotel, Portlaoise and we had Damien do our Church music, band, Irish Dancers and DJ. We had so many people comment on how good the church music was – and I have to mention that during preparation for the big day Damien came out to our house to help us go through and pick the music and also he helped edit the mass booklet, which was a great help. The day ran a bit late on us, which meant that Damien was late starting and despite this he still played the full amount of time and had the dance floor full for the entire night. The dancers were very popular and the fact that Damien and the DJ played late meant that we were able to party well into the early hours! I would highly recommend Damien and as far as we were concerned it was the best value we got for the entire wedding spend.

" After seeing Damien play with his band we booked them for our wedding in Limerick with no delay.  Damien was so professional and accomodating to all our requests for our big day.  Damien had personally met with us at our home in Limerick months before our wedding to go through our choice of church music, which he sang along with his guitar so beautifully.  Our guests and even our priest played tribute to him at the end of the service, it was so special.

Damien and the band knew exactly how to get the party going for our reception in the Woodlands, Adare.  They played a special request for us for our first song, followed by non stop floor filling music which got young and old dancing till the late hours. Damien and the band made such a great impression with all our guests; i'm sure they will be seen back again in Limerick quite soon. "

Damien Bowe - a profile

Lead singer, Damien Bowe had been involved in the music business from an early age forming a family band at the age of 15. Damien signed his first record deal in 2000 with Edel Records and went on sign for Warner Bros Music and Universal Music as part of the International pop Act D-SIDE.

Damien has already had three top ten pop singles in the U.K. charts and five top five singles in Ireland under his belt. This young but seasoned performer has also appeared on T.V. shows such as Top of the Pops, S.M.T.V., C.D.U.K , G.M.T.V Ireland A.M., The Den to name but a few.

Damien recorded D-SIDE’s debut Album in Miami, Los Angles, Copanhagen and London with some of the biggest names in the business including Desmond Childs, Andy Hill, Cutfather and Jo to name but a few.

Lloyd BrackenLloyd Bracken

Drums and Vocal

Toured extensively at a young age with a lot of top bands on the Irish circuit.. And stood in with some more! Drummed with Church mice and Simon Casey for 6 years, had 3 top 20 hits in Ireland with Church mice before the age of 22. Also played and recorded with the popular midland based band Loaded! and toured with other bands, Sans Souci, Noel Cassidy.. to name but a few..Lloyd has appeared on t.v. programmes such as Late Late show, Open House, Den TV, Nationwide, Crime line

Kevin CooganKevin Coogan

Keyboard/Piano

Kevin has been playing Keyboard/Piano from an early age and is a former All Ireland winning Piano Player. From the age of 16 he has been involved in the Irish country scene touring extensively in Ireland, UK and Scotland and has played with and accompanied numerous country music stars. He has also played with many tribute acts such as The Great Pretenders and Killer Queen. Kevin influences include Keith Emerson, Rick Wakeman, Jon Lord, Ray Manzarek, Richard Wright, Tony Banks Chick Corea and Ray Charles.

James MulvaneyJames Mulvaney

Lead Guitar

James did his first gig with Slightly Imperfect at the age of 13, amazing the audience with a mixture of classic rock and original songs. This band continued performing and producing several cds of self produced original material. He then went on to play with touring covers bands such as 'Pick up the Pieces' and the 'Great Pretenders' around the UK and Ireland gaining huge live experience.

Most recently James has toured with the 'Man in the Mirror' show, a spectacular tribute to the late king of pop, Michael Jackson, playing to sell out audiences in the likes of Dublin's Olympia theatre and Corks famous Opera House.

Still writing material with 'Slightly imperfect', James is also involved in the production side of the music business and runs Soundsrite studios in Naas. Catering to experienced and up and coming artists alike. He has worked as a session musician in some of Irelands top studios and continues to do so whenever a guitar part is needed, usually in a panic!  

Simon BerminghamSimon Bermingham

Bass Guitar and Vocal

Simon played in the band Lemmings which toured Europe and U.S.A., Simon appeared on RTE's 'Live at Three' and on various German TV show whilst on tour in Germany.

Other acts Simon has toured with include Slightly Imperfect, Queen Tribute, Great Pretenders and Queen experience.
