Bootleg Bowie UK
aka Nick Butcher, is a solo tribute act to David Bowie.
The show is constantly evolving as new ideas and songs are
incorporated. The present show is made up of all Bowie's classic songs from
the 70s and 80s and incorporates costumes from the 70s 'Aladin Sane' period,
80s 'Serious Moonlight Tour' and one taken from his more recent 'A Reality
Tour'.
Bootleg Bowie UK uses a powerful full range p.a, lighting and star cloth
back drop. A sound engineer is also used at every show leaving Nick free to
perform instead of having to mix and track change on stage, so often done by
other performers to save paying an extra person.
Whether booking Bootleg Bowie UK for an event, party or wedding you can be
sure of a great nights entertainment and rest assured that everything will
be done to ensure your event runs smoothly.
All the songs are sung live to top quality backing tracks which have been
carefully selected and edited. The PA and on stage lighting delivers crystal
clear sound and colourful visual effects, but it is also compact meaning it
is possible to set up in a relatively small space if required. A typical
performance is made up of two 45 minute sets with a break in between,
although a third set is available on request.

Equipment
Various sizes of PA and lighting are available to suit the size and capacity of each venue. PA from 400k – 2.500k, which includes makes such as Mackie, RCF, EV and LANEY.The lighting is generally compact yet delivers colourful visual effects. Extra lighting rigs are available if required, usually at no extra cost to the customer. These can include Martin Robo lights and various moving coloured moonflowers.
